SURGE / Site policy
Privacy Policy
This draft explains how information is handled when you visit surgecharging.com or contact SURGE. It is written for an Indian business and requires review against the actual operating model and applicable requirements before publication.
Draft for review · Legal review required before production launch.
Who operates this website
The website is operated by SURGE Energy Pvt. Ltd. (“SURGE”, “we”, “us”). The company name was supplied for this draft and has not been independently checked against corporate registration records. No registered office address was supplied, so none is published here.

Information we may receive
- Contact enquiries: name, email address, selected enquiry topic and message that you choose to provide. Do not include passwords, payment credentials, government identity numbers or sensitive personal information.
- Technical request data: hosting and security providers may receive IP address, browser/device information, requested pages and timestamps when they serve the website.
- Consent preference: this site stores the choice “necessary only” or “analytics” in browser local storage. It is a browser storage item, not a cookie.
- Analytics: Google Analytics is configured to load only after you affirmatively choose analytics. If enabled, it may process page views, event data, device/browser details and identifiers under Google’s configuration.
Why and how information is used
- To understand and respond to support, fleet, charging or site-hosting enquiries.
- To operate, protect and troubleshoot the website and to prevent abuse.
- To understand aggregate website activity only if you choose optional analytics.
Marketing communications are not requested by the current website form. If SURGE adds marketing, it will describe the purpose and provide a separate, optional choice where appropriate.
Where information is stored and who may access it
The website is hosted through Cloudflare Pages. The current contact form is a user-initiated email handoff: the browser prepares a message for your email application, and information is sent only if you review and send that email. SURGE cannot confirm delivery from this website.
The repository contains a Google Forms adapter, but its form endpoint is not configured for the current contact page. If a Google Form, response Sheet, CRM, charging platform, payment processor or other processor is enabled later, the notice, access controls, storage region, contractual terms and retention details must be verified and this page updated before use.
Access to enquiries should be restricted to personnel who need them to provide support. SURGE must confirm the actual mailbox access list and retention controls before launch.
Retention
Enquiry details should be kept only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage the resulting relationship, address disputes and meet applicable obligations. A specific deletion schedule and operational process have not been supplied; SURGE must define and implement them before production launch. Browser consent preference remains until you change or clear it.
Payments and charging services
This static website does not collect payment card or bank details and does not process a charging-session payment. If charging or payment services are integrated through a separate app, charging platform or payment provider, those services may process transaction, vehicle/session or payment information under the notices shown in that service. Provider, data fields, storage, retention and support process must be confirmed before integration.
Service providers and external links
Website delivery, typography, decorative imagery, motion, the user-activated map and opt-in analytics use third-party providers (currently Cloudflare, Google Fonts, Pexels for the illustrative homepage photograph, Kombai Assets for the AI-generated homepage concept illustrations, Anime.js via esm.sh, and Google Maps when you activate the map or directions link). The Pexels photograph and generated illustrations are visual concepts; they do not depict confirmed SURGE charging locations. Image credits and the AI-generated notice appear with the respective visuals. The homepage requests remote images and the animation library even if analytics is declined. The Google Maps iframe is created only after you choose “Load interactive Google Map”; no map frame or Maps request is added on initial page load. These requests may send technical connection information to their providers; the site does not intentionally send enquiry data or analytics events in those requests. Tabler Icons are served locally. Each provider may process request data under its own terms and privacy notice. The provider list must be rechecked whenever integrations change.
Security
The static site is configured for HTTPS and uses security response headers in the deployment configuration. No internet service can be represented as risk-free. Contact data security, mailbox access, incident handling and final production headers require operational verification; the static contact flow has no server-side form endpoint.
Your choices and data requests
You can decline analytics, change or withdraw that choice using the “Privacy settings” control, and clear site storage through your browser. If you want to ask about, access, correct or request deletion of information you sent to SURGE, or raise a privacy concern, contact [email protected] or +91 9110605621. Requests will be handled under applicable requirements. This draft does not assert that a particular statutory regime or certification has been verified.
Updates and review
We may revise this notice when the site or its data practices change. The final policy, applicable Indian privacy/data-protection requirements, grievance workflow, legal identity, retention periods and third-party processing arrangements must be reviewed by a qualified Indian legal professional and the SURGE service owner before launch.
